Conversation Verbs is a digital self-study course created for Intermediate élèves (and very motivated Beginners who are open to a new way of learning!) looking for a new way to practice their verbs, specifically connected to conversational French, as well as a pathway to taking their verb conjugations to an advanced level. It is also an excellent way for rusty advanced learners to prepare for their next French conversation experience. A beautiful way to experience Carrie Anne’s method for the first time, it is recommended to be used every day for ten minutes. This program is organized into ten parts - whether you choose to dive into them over ten days or ten weeks is up to you.

This course will take you through 35 of the most commonly used verbs (and their relevant pronouns / expressions, where helpful) in 8 of the most essential tenses.

You will learn to practice saying things like ‘I really needed’, ‘I’ll be able’, ‘I would have loved to’, ‘I preferred’ and ‘I had’ so that they finally become natural to you.

What makes this course so unique is that it focuses primarily on the je (I) form for each tense. Pourquoi ? Because we typically talk in the first person in conversation. This is how the course prepares you for conversation and helps you to feel fluid more quickly, in such a short amount of time.

Verbs include: être, faire, savoir, vouloir, aller, se coucher, donner ( à quelqu’un ), avoir besoin de, and more.

Tenses include: présent, passé composé, imparfait, conditionnel présent, conditionnel passé, futur simple, futur antérieur, subjonctif

An excerpt from the text :

‘May I am and je suis be synonymous in your subconscious; may pronouncing j’aurais adoré be a pleasure; may saying je suis allé(e) be as natural as breathing.’
